In France, not all retirees receive their pensions at the same time. Payment dates differ from one scheme to another and, sometimes, there are significant delays. For this month of July, no delays are expected. Here are all the dates to remember for different pensions.
“The pension is paid at the end of the month or at the beginning of the month for the previous month depending on the funds. When its amount is low, the payment can be made annually or in one go in the form of a lump sum,” the public service indicates on its website.
As for retirement pensions from the general scheme (CNAV and MSA), they are generally paid on the 9th of each month. “If the 9th is a Saturday, Sunday or public holiday, we pay it on the 1st working day before or after,” specifies the Retirement Insurance on its website.
For the month of July, payments are made on July 9 for all CNAV and MSA insured persons. For this month, no delay is therefore expected for retirees of the general scheme. For seniors who depend on Carsat Alsace-Moselle, no delay has been recorded either. The payment of the July pension took place on Monday, July 1.
What about state pensions and supplementary pensions?
Regarding the supplementary pension of the Agirc-Arrco scheme, it is sent to former private sector employees on the 1st of each month. When this date falls on a weekend or a public holiday, the sending is then delayed by one to several days. For the supplementary pensions for the month of July, former private sector employees did not have to wait long. In fact, the Agirc-Arrco scheme made its payments on Monday, July 1st.
As for former civil servants who receive a state retirement pension, their due will be paid on Tuesday, July 30. This is indicated in the payment schedule for the year 2024 found on the public service website. Finally, for those insured by the National Retirement Fund for Local Government Employees (CNRACL), the payment for the current month will take place on Monday, July 29.
It is important to note that these dates correspond to the sending of the various pensions. Consequently, all pensioners concerned will receive their due in their bank accounts with a delay of 1 to 3 days. The deadlines differ from one bank to another.
