CThis development is mainly due to the decrease in unit values of “energy and lubricants” by 17.8%, “semi-finished products” by 11.1%, “finished industrial equipment products” by 7.9%, “food, beverages and tobacco” by 9.9%, “finished consumer products” by 2.5%, “raw products of animal and vegetable origin” by 15.1% and “raw products of mineral origin” by 23.6%.
The export unit value index, for its part, experienced a decrease of 9.4% during the first quarter of 2024 compared to the corresponding quarter of the previous year. This decrease is mainly explained by the decrease in the unit values of “semi-finished products” by 26.3%, “food, beverages and tobacco” by 8.9%, “crude products of mineral origin” by 20.9%, “finished consumer goods” by 0.7% and “energy and lubricants” by 19.8%.
On the other hand, this index increased in “raw products of animal and vegetable origin” by 30.0% and “finished products of industrial equipment” by 1.6%.
