The municipal council of Saint-Martin-le-Gréard (Manche) met in ordinary session Wednesday November 27, 2024under the presidency of Mayor Nicolas Dubost.

The latter launched a new call for recruit an enumerator. No one has come forward so far.

The enumerator is paid at a flat rate of €850. He collects documents from the people listed.

With online responses, there is less travel. The census must be carried out between January 15 and February 15, 2025. Do not hesitate to come and find out at the town hall.

Other deliberations

The council contributes to the clothing costs of territorial agents with the municipality of Hardinvast; also mentioned the agreement for the subsidy of students attending the College of the Provinces; the signing of the amendment to the agreement with the SDEM for the supply of electricity; approval of the 2024 free compensation allocation in the amount of €30,124; the authorization given to the mayor to sign the agreement and pay project management assistance costs with the Development Center for Housing and Land Use Planning (CDHAT), as part of the renovation of the presbytery the cost of which is estimated at €262,000 excluding subsidies.

At the end of the council, the mayor transmitted the invitation from the holiday committee, a meeting with the population for December 21 in the church parking lot, for the arrival of Santa Claus.
