Would you like to shower in a capsule and let the machine do everything for you? The Japanese company Science Corp has developed a prototype of a “person wash” which allows you to wash your daily routine while lying down, without making a single effort, reports BFMTV this Monday.
The company, already specialized in “smart bathtubs”, has designed a capsule in which you simply lie down. Partly immersed in water, the person is then washed using jets for around fifteen minutes then dried with a flow of hot air. Sensors manage water flow and temperature in real time.

Soon sold to the general public?
This high-tech solution could be of great use to the elderly or people with disabilities, for whom showering is a time requiring great physical effort. Science Corp also highlights the water savings achieved thanks to its machine.
The prototype will be presented in April 2025 during the next World Expo, which will be held in Osaka, specifies BFMTV. If it is successful, the company plans to launch the production of a series version, in order to market its “personality washer” to the general public, at a price… still unknown.
