A major player in the construction, real estate, energy and operations sectors, the Legendre group has become the majority shareholder of the Orlando construction company, based in Geneva (Switzerland). This merger gives rise to a new entity called D’Orlando-Legendre.

Present in Switzerland since 2022, the Legendre group is thus consolidating its presence in the country. With a turnover of one billion euros and 2,400 employees in France, the United Kingdom, Jersey, Portugal and Switzerland, it is reaching a new stage in its international development.

“A rich family heritage”

“The Orlando company is a family entity that shares the same DNA as the Legendre group. Each carries a rich family heritage and shares values deeply anchored in respect, work, and commitment to excellence”explain the managers of the Legendre group, whose headquarters are located just outside Rennes, in Saint-Jacques-de-la-Lande.

Clément Jacob, 39, is appointed general manager of the new entity. He will work with Fabrice D’Orlando, administrator. The objective is to offer a wider range of services in the areas of general contracting, covering residential, tertiary and functional projects, both in new construction and in rehabilitation.

“Our ambition is clear: to offer our clients, in Switzerland, high-end services, integrating, for example, mixed construction techniques and energy optimization systems”says Clément Jacob, who has international experience in large construction companies, including fourteen years spent in England.
