The Pierre Corneille School Group launches middle and high schools – Today Morocco

With the “Cambridge English School” label, the private group positions itself as a pioneer in trilingual education. The extension to the middle school-high school level will allow students to have the tools for an orientation of choice. Their approval is in progress…

After kindergarten and primary school, the Pierre Corneille school group (GSPC) is completing its offer with its new middle school/high school establishment. The multi-level building incorporating smart equipment will be operational from the start of the school year in September 2024. The inauguration which took place on June 26th demonstrated that the dynamics of the Moroccan market in this area are more relevant. The challenges are real and national policy confirms this, in particular through the integration of the English language into the various educational programs in the long term. In the same spirit and as a pioneer, GSPC has been present in the ecosystem since 2016 and its primary objective is to train young Moroccan minds to become the leaders of tomorrow. The establishment, which has a scientific committee, has given itself the means to do so thanks to a teaching team of 50 people. The Cambridge International language certification from CP, CE2 and CM2 classes strongly influenced the decision to broaden horizons to support young people until they obtain their baccalaureate. As designed, the educational program set up aims to ensure a balance through trilingual immersion from the early years where Arabic, French and English are taught up to high school. The GSPC is positioned precisely on the chessboard with the “Cambridge English School” label already acquired for primary school. For higher levels, the approval procedure is underway. The government’s instruction is indeed to integrate the English language into national academic programs by 2027. The private group will offer several baccalaureate options to its students, namely the International Baccalaureate French Option (BIOF), the International Baccalaureate English Option (BIOA) or AS/A LEVEL (English Baccalaureate). The promise is to offer them a sufficient background for their future studies. Globalization requires it. English is no longer a luxury but a necessity in learning. National education is also working hard on it.
