Perreault was removed from the Order of Pharmacists in 2017 for a period of 31 years and 9 months after pleading guilty to around sixty counts of violation of the code of ethics.

He was notably accused of having made illegal claims of $174,000 to the RAMQ, selling expired medications and having obtained prohibited advantages from pharmaceutical companies.

An investigation by the Bureau of Investigation of Journal had shown that he had built an empire of 40 pharmacies, most of them with a partner, in just seven years.

In 2020, Perreault put the house up for sale for the first time at a price of $4.5 million, but for some unknown reason, he ultimately decided to keep it. This time, the property is back on the market at a price of $9.7 million.

The 44-room property, which is being sold through the real estate agency Engel & Völkers, is valued at $5.2 million.

In municipal and school taxes alone, the future owner will have to pay nearly $35,464 per year. According to information available on Centris, the annual electricity bill amounts to $13,220.

It must be said that the living area is 9664 square feet. Built in 2008, it has five bedrooms, six bathrooms, a gym, a home theater, a wine cellar and a triple garage.

Among the additional features, note that it has an in-ground swimming pool and that the property, built on a plot of land with an area of ​​60,000 square feet, is located on the edge of the lake.
