Blainville police recently made the largest hashish seizure in their history during the dismantling of a clandestine drug production laboratory.
The operation took place in a residential garage, where law enforcement discovered the presence of a sophisticated laboratory two weeks ago.

On site, the police seized more than 32 kg of cannabis, 37 kg of hashish and 57 kg of kief (cannabis powder) as well as equipment used for the production of narcotics.
The value of the seizure is nearly $3 million.

Authorities also arrested three suspects, two men aged in their 40s and another in their 60s.
The operation was the result of an investigation initiated several months ago, as part of the ACCES cannabis program, a concerted action against the underground economy.
