The Nissan N7 measures 4.93 meters in length.
Nissan currently markets two electric models here: the aging Leaf and the Ariya SUV. These two models are struggling to find success on the European market, even if the Ariya has just significantly lowered its price in France to relaunch itself against the Peugeot E-3008 and other Renault Scénic E-Tech Electric.
The N7 sedan that you can see in the images accompanying this article is another new electric model from Nissan, designed for the Chinese automobile market. Like almost all models developed for China by Japanese or European brands, it will be built on site via a joint venture, in this case with the manufacturer Dongfeng.
A sedan with a classic look
The car also seems quite pleasant to look at. 4.93 meters long, it displays very conservative proportions in the genre but displays a relative elegance even if it does not have much more charisma than an ordinary thermal Toyota Camry. It seems more successful to us in these first images of the Volkswagen ID.7 for example but for the moment, Nissan is not showing the interior of the car nor communicating its technical characteristics.
The chances of seeing this N7 arrive on the European market seem low, knowing that the car will be – at least initially – manufactured exclusively in China for China. But now that the Volkswagen ID.7 has become a competitive product here thanks to its big discount, there may be a future for this kind of electric sedan in our market.
