Janze. 60 years of marriage for Suzanne and Léon Gauthier

Saturday, Léon and Suzanne Gauthier had an appointment at the town hall. François Goiset, 1is deputy, then welcomed them into the wedding hall to celebrate their sixty years of life together (diamond wedding). Léon and Suzanne said yes again in front of the chosen one.

Léon Gauthier was born on November 28, 1938 in Nouvoitou. He attended balls and met Suzanne, née Malécot in Amanlis, on July 20, 1942. They married on November 5, 1964 in Amanlis in front of the mayor, Claude de Talhouët.

They set up as farmers on the Dollerais farm in Nouvoitou. Léon buys a horse to help him with field work. He quickly gives it up. It was not a horse but a fool who did as she pleased! remembers Léon. He prefers to purchase a tractor to support him in his work.

From this union was born Philippe, in 1966, followed by Jean-Yves, in 1968, and Christian, in 1970. In 1994, Léon decided to retire for a well-deserved retirement and passed the farm on to his son Jean-Yves. They settled in Janzé and made numerous trips in and abroad, spending time with their friends.

Fishing and gardening are two activities that Léon enjoys. They especially like to bring their children and grandchildren together specifies Christian. Suzanne is proud to talk about her family of three sons, nine grandchildren and one great-grandson. We are delighted.
