Triumph sends its Rocket 3 into the air with a limited edition

Just a few days after the end of the high mass of motorcycles, the EICMA show in Milan, Triumph unveiled a new limited series of its Rocket 3, celebrating the partnership between stuntman Evel Knievel and the English manufacturer. An edition produced in only 500 copies worldwide, equally distributed between the two configurations of the Rocket 3 (250 copies each).

Available on models Rocket 3 R et GTthe special Evel Knievel series features fully chromed fuel tanks, and takes on the colors of Knievel’s iconic white suit, adorned with the star and stripes on a white base. The matching rear buckle and matte sapphire black sidewalls are paired with a leather saddle with the Evel Knievel logo embroidered in gold.

Each motorcycle is equipped with a unique splash screen animation and an individually numbered, laser-engraved plaque on the triple clamp bearing Evel Knievel’s signature.

Each owner of the special series in the colors of the famous stuntman will also receive an exclusive collector’s edition book retracing his history as well as that of his Triumph-branded motorcycles. An individually numbered book, to match the motorcycle.

A limited series for the two Triumph Rocket 3 models

Mechanically, however, the motorcycles remain identical to the “base” models of the Rocket 3 R and Rocket 3 GT, awith their 2,500 cc engineswhich offer a torque of 225 Nm and one power of 182 horsepower at 7,000 rpm.

The cycle part also remains the same as the standard versions, already well equipped with the Showa fork 47 mm in diameter, adjustable in relaxation and compression, a Showa monoshock shock absorber with piggy-back tank, fully adjustable for pre-load, rebound and compression. The braking system is provided by the Italian manufacturer Brembo, and its Stylema calipers with dual 320mm discs up front, and a four-piston Brembo M4.32 rear radial monobloc caliper that bites a 300mm disc.

A limited edition about which Paul Stroud, Sales Director of Triumph Motorcycles, said: “ Evel Knievel performed many stunts on Triumph motorcycles in the sixties, but his jump at Caesar’s Palace on a T120 TT was the moment he created a legend that inspired generations of fans. »

The new Triumph Rocket 3 R Evel Knievel Limited Edition will be available from €28,995, while the Rocket 3 GT Evel Knievel Limited Edition is priced from €29,895. Both models will be available in dealerships from March 2025.
