Like À La Maison, this is the promise of “CALM”, the brand new place to live in the Saint-Cyprien district. Arts and free expression workshop, café and boutique, this 90m² cocoon, located opposite the Raymond VI garden, is a unique concept in Toulouse.

The creative workshops are open to everyone, from a very young age, with baby awareness sessions, children’s sessions and adult/teen sessions.

The very welcoming coffee shop/small restaurant guarantees you a pleasant moment of relaxation, and finally the decoration, textile, accessories, stationery and fine arts shop is eco-responsible.

Alumni of the hotel school

This innovative project, matured over two and a half years, is the result of the reunion of two former students of the Toulouse hotel high school, driven by the same desire to undertake: Leslie Drigo and Jean-Baptiste Darrigrand. A local child, Leslie has always had a passion for art and a need to create that her professional career could not satisfy. After her hotel diploma, then another in marketing and communication, her field of activity for 10 years at Toulouse airport, Leslie will have the opportunity of experience in interior space planning which will be the trigger. She then decided to devote herself to her talents as an artist and at the same time began training in artistic mediation in order to be able to help others. She is the one who runs the workshops and children’s holiday courses. “The goal is not necessarily to create beauty, but to do good by freeing what is inside you,” she explains. Jean-Baptiste grew up on Avenue de Muret. He returned to the country after fifteen years spent in Canada. Boutique manager, then chef of a café-bistro in Montreal, he brought back recipes in his suitcases, but also a philosophy of life. Even if this grandson of the poet and painter André Gastou is not devoid of artistic fiber, it is up to him to manage the café/restaurant part. “With Leslie, we are complementary and we want to anchor ourselves in this neighborhood by creating lasting links and relationships of trust with our customers,” he assures.
