(SNPC) – A delegation from the Société Nationale des Pétroles du Congo (SNPC), led by its Director General Mr. Maixent Raoul OMINGA, made a working visit to Astana, capital of the Republic of Kazakhstan, where he met with Mr. Ashat KHASSENOV, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the national gas and oil company of Kazakhstan, KMG (KazMunayGas).
The working session was an opportunity for the two managers to discuss current events and the challenges of their respective national companies in the development of their activities. The in-depth discussions between delegations from the two companies made it possible to explore prospects for cooperation in several strategic areas of the oil and gas sectors, including international oil and gas trade as well as the training and strengthening of human capital.
Both parties expressed their satisfaction with the quality of their exchanges and the convergence of their strategic interests. “This visit was extremely productive and marks the start of a promising collaboration between SNPC and KazMunayGas. Together, we will open new perspectives for the sustainable development of our oil and gas sectors. »declared Mr. Maixent Raoul OMINGA after this meeting.
Both parties agreed to establish dedicated working teams who will meet in the coming weeks, to finalize the details of an ambitious and mutually beneficial cooperation agreement. This agreement will aim to strengthen ties between KazMunayGas (KMG) and the SNPC Group, by promoting the exchange of know-how, commercial partnerships and joint initiatives for the sustainable development of their oil and gas activities.
It also emerges that SNPC and KazMunayGas share a common vision of the importance of developing the hydrocarbon industry while respecting environmental standards and social responsibility. This partnership is part of a dynamic of international cooperation aimed at optimizing resources and promoting sustainable economic growth.
