A bedding store has set up in the Parc area in La Ferté-Macé

Occupied until the end of April 2024, the Photo Flash premises, Parc zone in La Ferté-Macé (Orne), will not remain vacant for long.

Since Saturday June 8, 2024, the Litier de France brand has been established there. “This registered trademark belongs to Meubles Lepage, which was founded in Laval in 1920,” explains the director. Christophe Leprince. The Flers store, created in 1942, has a sales area of ​​1,000 m² on two levels, with 2,000 m² of stocks. It employs 6 people.

In view for 5 years

After opening in October 2016, a second store of 900 m² in Vire, with two employees, the manager then became interested in La Ferté-Macé “where the supply of furniture and bedding was rather limited. People had to go to Flers, Argentan or Alençon.”

If for 5 years, his research has not been successful, it is by contacting Stéphan Aubert, president of the UCIA (Commercial, industrial and artisanal union) that Christophe Leprince found what he was looking for. “Here we have a space of 300 m²visible, and located in a very busy area,” he emphasizes.

Everything for bedding

For this new store, with Justine Leprince as responsible, the director nevertheless had to prioritize bedding given the surface area.

“We offer five major brands with almost exclusively French products, including sofa beds, folding beds, electric beds. We also have a department with duvets and bed linen.”

We also find living room sofas and armchairs, tables and chairs, decoration, paintings. “We ensure delivery and assembly within a radius of 40 to 100 km,” specifies the manager.

For the opening, and until June 29, 2024, the store is offering: – 25% on bedding, – 15% on tables, – 20% on sofas, – 50% on 2^e pillow, and the 6^e free chair.
