How fast this legislative campaign is going… No time to even Google the name provided in haste by a recent ally. This is the mishap that happened to Franck Allisio, boss of the RN of Bouches-du-Rhône, this Saturday, after presenting the candidate supported by the RN in the 14th constituency (Aix-Est). This is Gérault Verny, an industrialist parachuted from the Lyon region and officially invested in Éric Ciotti’s LR contingent.
But a quick search (around three seconds) on a search engine reveals that the person concerned is not a history of the Gaullist party. And even that Gérault Verny was very close, recently, to… Reconquest. We can thus read in The world that the neo-candidate RN of Aix was one of the “50 lieutenants” by Éric Zemmour for his 2022 presidential campaign; on The Express, which he taught at Issep, the higher education school created in Lyon by Marion Maréchal; or even in La Lettre that in September 2023 he was the main financier of the relaunch of Livre noir, a website close to Éric Zemmour.
