The High Commission for Planning is organizing a conference-debate, chaired by Mr Ahmed Lahlimi Alami, High Commissioner for Planning, around two works carried out by the HCP in 2022. One relating to the study “Allocation of resources and gains productivity in the Moroccan manufacturing sector” and the other on the results of the National Survey on the Standard of Living of Households (ENNVM) 2022/2023.

The study “Allocation of resources and productivity gains in the Moroccan manufacturing sector”, the result of a collaboration between economists from the HCP and those from the Economic Commission for Africa (ECA), constitutes an approach to the main sources of distortions linked to the business climate and potential gains from better allocation of resources in the Moroccan manufacturing sector.

The ENNVM 2022/2023, carried out nationally among a sample of 18,000 households, offers the main changes in the standard of living of households among the different socio-economic categories of the population and the different regions of the Kingdom as well as their impact on poverty, vulnerability and inequalities at national and regional levels.

This conference-debate, which will bring together a group of experts, researchers and economic and social actors, will be held on Tuesday June 25, 2024, from 10:00 a.m., at the headquarters of the High Commission for Planning located in Hay Riyad – Rabat .
