The LOOP For Science & Technology association announces the results – Today Morocco

The announcement of the results of the 2024 World Robot Olympiad (WRO) national championship took place on June 8 at Elbilia International. And it is the LOOP For Science & Technology association, a Moroccan association, which is the instigator. The details.

The competition was able to highlight the intrinsic qualities of the Moroccan students who were chosen to represent Morocco during the next meetings in Turkey. The projects all represent technological innovations. The objective is to promote science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics (STEAM) among children and young people from vulnerable backgrounds. Founded in 2018 by young Moroccan engineers and experts, the NGO has an experienced team in the fields of education and technology. The association partners with major international organizations such as First, World Robot Olympiad™ Association and its national organizer for all its programs.

Following demonstrations of skills, 5 teams represent Morocco. These are Robiomission elementary: mindcraft delta of Tangier; Robomission Junior: Mindcraft Bravo from Tangier; Robomission Senior: The cybernauts of El Jadida; Future Innovators: Next Tech from Casablanca and Future Engineers: Mindcraft from Tangier. They have qualified for the international final which will be held in Izmir, Turkey, from November 28 to 30. These teams will represent Morocco at the international final where they will show their creativity and expertise in robotics on the international stage. As a reminder, World Robot Olympiad (WRO) is a global robotics competition that aims to promote creativity, problem solving and robotics skills among young people aged 8 to 19.
Every year, thousands of young robotics enthusiasts from different countries participate in this event. The WRO is dedicated to encouraging young people to explore the fields of science, technology and education in a fun and engaging way.
