The larger recall, which concerns 239,663 vehicles in Canada, concerns a steering gear that “may not have been manufactured correctly,” according to the Transport Canada fact sheet. Owners of Civic (2023 to 2025), CR-V (2023 to 2025), HR-V (2023 to 2025) and Acura Integra (2023 to 2025) will have to make an appointment with their dealership, who will have to “add grease the steering box and replace the electronically assisted steering spring.

The other recall affecting the brand targets 61,175 vehicles in the country, Accord and Accord hybrid (2023 and 2024), Civic and Civic hybrid (2025) as well as CR-V hybrid (2023 to 2025). In this case, it is the high pressure fuel pump that could crack due to an assembly problem. If such a thing happened, the risk of fire would be increased tenfold due to the positioning of the pump directly in the engine compartment. It will be inspected and replaced if necessary.

Honda specifies in both cases that owners of vehicles affected by these recalls will receive a letter notifying them to go to their dealership.
