After several years of experience in technology companies, she now specializes in the beauty and well-being sector. She uses her technology skills to boost this field.

Maya Ammouche (photo) is an Algerian computer scientist and businesswoman. She is the founder and CEO of Izya, an application dedicated to the field of beauty, health and well-being.

Created in 2022, Izya aims to connect professionals in these sectors. The application lists the best establishments and experts, offering personalized services for individuals, whether in establishments or at home, as well as for companies concerned about the well-being of their employees.

Izya’s main functionality allows customers to make an appointment at the nearest establishment, or to receive a service provider at home.

« We offer a SaaS solution [logiciel en tant que service, Ndlr] which allows establishments to better manage their activities, while making it easier for their customers to make appointments and allowing them to benefit from a range of advantages that are both qualitative and quantitative. The latter will benefit from a repository of the best plans in terms of quality/price ratio for all services.», explains the founder of Izya.

Before founding Izya, Maya Ammouche co-founded the SprintHub accelerator in 2020, where she served until 2023 as vice president in charge of marketing and sales. She holds an engineering degree in computer engineering obtained in 2007 at the Houari Boumediène University of Science and Technology.

Her career began in 2009 at Altex-Corp, a computer engineering services company, where she held the position of consulting engineer. In 2012, she became director of sales development at Corpotrade, a trading company. In 2018, she was appointed marketing and partnerships director at Yassir, a start-up specializing in carpooling and delivery. In 2020, she joined Cleverzone, a technology company, as Marketing Director, responsible for sales and business development.
