a new B.iG brand and a decreasing system

Faced with fierce competition from operators, Bouygues Telecom is launching B.iG, a family offering that focuses on decreasing prices and flexibility of services.

After Free with its Free Family offer, it is the turn of Bouygues Telecom to come up with a proposal for families.

At the heart of the B.iG proposition is a simple principle: the more mobile lines you add to your Bbox must or ultym package, the more the price of each line decreases.

Concretely, Bouygues Telecom promises savings ranging from €5 per month for one line to €10 per month for each line from the third, up to 10 lines per family pack.

This approach is interesting in more than one way. First, it responds to a demographic reality: French homes are increasingly equipped with connected devices. Then, it stands out from traditional offers which are often content to offer reductions on a single additional line. Finally, Bouygues Telecom also insists on the sustainability of these prices, unlike the temporary promotions common in the sector.

However, not everything is perfect. If the savings announced are interesting (up to €564 per year for a family with 4 lines), they strongly depend on the composition of the package chosen. We therefore encourage you to be vigilant and precisely calculate your needs to ensure that B.iG is truly more advantageous than competing offers or individual packages.

Not just for families in the same household

Among the services highlighted by Bouygues Telecom is “Giga Boost”. This service allows you to add 20 GB of data for free to one of the packages in the pack, up to three times a year.

Finally, the term “family” is broad. This includes not only families, even blended or geographically distant families, but also groups of friends or student roommates looking to optimize their telecom expenses. Different RIBs can be used for lines in the same pack.
