Quick is making a strong comeback in France: will fast food arrive in your city alongside McDonald’s, Burger King and KFC?

After coming close to disappearing, Quick made his comeback in France. The brand’s goal is to reach nearly 300 fast-food restaurants by 2028.

The fast-food sign is regaining color. In 2023, Quick, created in 1971, saw its turnover increase by 20%, reaching nearly 415 million euros over one year, according to News.

The brand plans to open around thirty restaurants in the south-east, in the west, including very soon in Rennes, the north, the east of France and in the Paris region, soon in Boulogne-Billancourt in occurrence, reports News.

The brand’s objective is to open 165 more restaurants in four years, to reach nearly 300 fast-food restaurants by 2028. Good news on the employment front: these restaurant openings should generate the creation of 1,500 jobs each year, promises the chain.

To improve the image of this great comeback, Quick called on Tony Parker as a new ambassador. “He had always “dreamed of being the first NBA player to sign with Quick”, it’s done!”communicates the brand on its site, supporting photos of the famous basketball player.

After experiencing success in the 1980s, the brand suddenly took a nosedive after the acquisition of 300 of its restaurants by the Bertrand group in 2015. The group, also owner of Burger King, then converted the Quick into Burger King .

In 2021, the remaining 121 restaurants were bought by an American group which wanted to relaunch the brand, details -. In 2024, 135 Quicks will be present on French territory. And many more are expected to arrive soon.
