A Freebox developer is looking for beta testers to try out a new screensaver application on the TV boxes of its legendary box and its most high-end player.
Since the launch in 2022 of a new screensaver feature on the Freebox Revolution and Delta as well as a “Diaporama Screensaver” application, Free has provided a tool for amateur or professional developers who wish to offer their own screensaver applications on the FreeStore.
Currently, a Freebox developer (https://twitter.com/monsieurtybu/status/1837818374987948342?s=46&t=GpxFRSe0Lu5bpQ5I4NSs4g is working on developing a new application of this type and announced on X on September 22 that it is looking for “around ten beta testers for an app/screensaver on Freebox player Revolution and Devialet”.
While we will have to wait for its availability in the Freestore to know what this app actually brings, we can expect it to be different from “Diaporama Screensaver” which allows you to choose image banks to display at a regular interval to be defined (10, 20 or 30 seconds).
