A stimulating work environment for some, an impactful mission for others

If we look at the student priorities depending on their field of study, they are ultimately essentially the same but in a different order. For example, a business school student places more importance on possibility of expatriation or to have travel abroad than an engineering student. Other points of differentiation: students in business schools are more looking for a stimulating supervisionwhile engineering students rather favor a creative work environment and dynamic, but also companies that offer training. The IT profiles place, for their part, in their Top 10, the flexibility of their working conditions. THE engineering students also attach great importance to the scope of their mission. They are in fact 44% not wanting to work for a company that is not committed, far ahead of business (31%) and IT (28%) students.

Furthermore, the differences in salary expectations gap between men and women, with the exception of IT profiles. At the end of their studies, students in business schools and engineering schools have salary expectations much lower than those of their male counterparts. THE future IT graduates seem more aware of their value on the labor market and do not hesitate to ask for salaries that are closer to those of their male colleagues.
