Management had planned to stagger the shutdown of operations between September 13 and 21. The Brest store had already stopped opening on Sunday afternoons.

However, discussions seemed to be underway for the takeover of the Brest and Lannion stores. Information that Casino management did not wish to comment on at the beginning of the week. “In any case, if the discussions do not succeed, the store’s employees will be well supported as part of the company’s job protection plan (PSE) and will be supported on an individual basis,” management indicated.
