CHANGZHOUChina, April 18, 2024 /CNW/ — Trina Solar Co. Ltd., a global leader in smart energy storage and photovoltaic solutions, announced that its Vertex S+ Clear Black module topped the list in a PV test report Magazine published last month.
The PV Magazine test, organized by PV Magazine Group, comprehensively evaluated the efficiency and energy production of a range of PV modules. The assessment included indoor performance assessments and field tests for energy performance.
To ensure the integrity and impartiality of the results, AC, a renowned industry consulting firm, was hired as a third-party technical expert to oversee the testing process.
During the indoor test session, the Vertex S+ Clear Black module Trina Solar stood out with an average score of 92 points. Benchmarking against modules used technologies like HJT, p-type BAC, and n-type BAC. The Vertex S+ light black module, distinguished by its aesthetic appeal, outperformed its counterparts in key areas such as appearance, EL, low light output, temperature coefficient and PID.
In the optional sub-element of LID, the Vertex S+ Clear Black module performed remarkably well, scoring 99 points overall. In particular, the Vertex S+ Clear Black module scored much higher than average in the PID and LID.
In January, the Vertex S+ Clear Black module demonstrated exceptional performance during the TOPCon/HJT Group field test, securing the top spot on the monthly list with an impressive energy efficiency of 43.24 Wh/Wp.
The light black Vertex S+ module combines 210mm rectangular (210R) silicon wafer cell technology with advanced n-type i-TOPCon technology, improving efficiency by 22.3% and producing impressive power output up to 445 W+.
