Her new novel, Stand up (Albin Michel), is, in fact, in first place among the best-selling books in France according to the site Books Weekly. A new consecration for the author, who became in 2023 the most read writer in the country, even dethroning Guillaume Musso, in the lead for 12 consecutive years.

Stand up is one of the big titles of the summer and the literary rentrée, and Mélissa Da Costa’s universe is also expanding in a new way in this month of August 2024. Indeed, her novel All the blue of the sky was adapted into a comic strip by Carbonne and Juliette Bertaudière for Albin Michel publishing, allowing the author’s first great success to reach a new audience.
