The executive committee of the 18th edition of the Manga Grand Prix, also called the “Manga Taisho Awards” (or “Cartoon Grand Prize” in English), has revealed a list of ten titles in competition. The winner will be crowned on March 27.
The nomination committee is essentially made up of booksellers in charge of manga in their respective stores. This year, 101 jurors established this selection from 257 titles, chosen to have appeared in 2024 and to consist of only eight volumes maximum, in order to promote the visibility of new creations.

- Onna no Sono no Hoshi of Yama Wayama (Shōdensha; the title is translated into French under the title Hoshi in the girls’ garden published by the Black Lizard)

- Jono Yo wa Tatakau Kachi ga Aru of Hatsumi Kodama (Shôgakukan)
- Re-Living My Life with a Boyfriend Who Doesn’t Remember Me of Gin Shirakawa, Eiko Mutsuhana, Yugiri Aika (Seven Seas)
- Magus of the Library of Mitsu Izumi (Kōdansha)
- Dokagui Daisuki !Mochizuki-san of Kamome Maruyono (Hakusensha)
- Dokudami no Hana Saku Koro of Shiho Kido (Kodansha)
- Girl Meets Rock ! of Tetsuo Ideuchi et Kuwahali (Shueisha; the title is translated into French by Ki-oon)
- Robo no Fujii of Nabekurao (Shôgakukan)
