After three days of entertainment, on the 13the Genouillac book fair, in the commune of Terres-de-Haute-Charente, ended with a great success. A satisfaction for the organizers, the Genouillac-Fontafie animation committee, the Terres-de-Haute-Charente media libraries and the many volunteers who mobilized.

More than 200 students from the college and schools of Genouillac, Roumazières and Nieuil participated, on Thursday and Friday, in the various workshops set up on the theme of animals in literature. To this end, Nathalie Vierra, the manager of the Genouillac media library, wanted to pay tribute to Virginie Thybaud, coordinator of the REP (priority education network) who works to set up these workshops. Tribute was also paid to the two local authors, Antoine Sa Sylva and François Delarbre, who contributed to the success of these story reading and writing sessions around the animal world.

On Sunday, the show dedicated to the public was well attended, with readers and curious people coming in large numbers. Some to meet the writers, discover their new novels and discuss literature. The book exchange stand also had its fans, adults and children. The exhibition of the achievements of the students, who participated in the “Tell your animal” competition, was noticed by visitors.

The afternoon highlight of the show was the theater show offered by the “funny people of Fontafio”, the amateur troupe coached by Antoine Da Sylva, which was widely applauded by around a hundred spectators. . These “funny guys” presented a story that was both humorous, warm and authentic, talentedly revisiting the world of La through several fables featuring animals that were always striking with truth and morality.
