An institutional “explosion” analyzed by Cynthia Illouz
The first work, Mazan trial, the explosionwill be published on January 22 by Éditions de l’Observatoire. Its author, Cynthia Illouz, an essayist specializing in issues of equality between men and women, reviews the numerous institutional dysfunctions which marked this affair. According to the presentation sent to AFP, she explores the mechanisms that “stifle speech, blame victims and erase consent”. This book intends to analyze the societal flaws revealed by this trial.
