For her detractors, Björk is too arty and her singing too garish. For his admirers, the three French dates of his tour Cornucopia will not have been enough to explore the richness of his live performance. Also, the Icelander has planned a catch-up session with the 480 pages of Cornucopia : The Book, 100 euros all the same. This book composed solely of magnificent photos shot by Santiago Felipe during the five years of the tour, designated by M /M (Paris), Björk’s long-time partner duo, transports us into the artist’s visual universe. For the record, the live Cornucopia was an experience both immersive, where around twenty moving curtains transformed into screens for digital videos created by Tobias Gremmler, and organic, featuring strange musical instruments, magnetic harp or reverberation chamber. An ambitious and confusing live performance now put on paper for posterity.
