During its December plenary session, the Nouvelle-Aquitaine Region adopted a new book contract for the period 2025-2027. Through this contract, which also associates the State and the National Book Center, public actors want to promote the development of the book sector in the region.
This contract provides 3.7 million funds, including 2.2 million from the Region. “This new sector framework agreement aims to support professionals in the book chain in their economic development, their structuring and their literary creation,” explains Charline Claveau, vice-president of the Region in charge of culture.
