On January 11, the Ho Chi Minh City Book Street organized in coordination with the Ho Chi Minh City General Publishing House an exchange session to present the book “1 Years of Brilliant History”.
The collection includes 50 songs imbued with the breath of the homeland, filled with national pride, while evoking the heroic historical memories of a resilient and indomitable Vietnam.

Speaking about this project, musician Dinh Quang Minh said that the South in general and Ho Chi Minh City in particular are always an inexhaustible source of inspiration for him. Because it is here that numerous works of literature, theater, cinema, I am nhạc, from fine arts to photography, dance, architecture… were created and have been exhibited enjoyed great success.
Therefore, when writing on the theme of Ho Chi Minh City, the musician always wondered how to create a special work, like a commemorative mark attached to the place where he was born and raised.
“The most touching thing for me is the work “Ho Chi Minh City, 50 Years of Brilliant History”, which received full support from artist friends even though there was no income in return Therefore, my greatest hope is to be able to release 50 MVs with the 50 artists in order to unite the atmosphere of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and the unification of the country (April 30.1975). 30.4.2025 – April 30, 2025). and also a tribute to my companions for many years” – shared the musician.
The work makes a bold impression of musician Dinh Quang Minh
Musician Dinh Quang Minh is a member of the Vietnam Music Association and head of the folk arts department of the Ho Chi Minh City Cultural Center.
At the age of 13, the musician composed his first children’s song “Summer is Coming”. The song received support from the District 11 Cultural House and was chosen by the largest number of units to participate in the children’s summer art competition.
Initially, musician Quang Minh officially worked as a musician and arranger before officially embarking on a career as a composer. He also performed arrangements of works by famous musicians such as: Tran Long An, Nguyen Ngoc Thien, Nguyen Duc Trung, Khanh Vinh…
In 2001, he returned to the Maison Culturelle de la Jeunesse, taking on the role of manager of clubs and groups.
Two years later, he moved to District 1 Cultural Center – Ben Thanh Theater, where he is studying for a master’s degree in cultural management at Ho Chi Minh City University of Culture.
