An original initiative that combines leisure, discovery and reading! The EAE, a support group for self-published authors, born on social networks in 2022, has since organized events to highlight local writers. And launches, next February, a vast literary treasure hunt.
The concept? Throughout France, self-published authors will drop off a copy of their book in their town. These will be placed in envelopes marked “AE Treasure Hunt”, accompanied by an explanatory note. An interactive map will be put online to guide participants, with clues to orient them.
In the city of festivals, it is Laure Iniz's third novel, “From Blues to Memories”, which will be discovered. “It’s a great idea to promote our booksrejoices the Cannes author. There are 142 of us participating throughout France. Everyone will be responsible for setting up a route and clues leading to the book.”
A novel based on friendship
Laurence Berg, her real name, worked for a long time as an oncology psychologist at the Cannes hospital. It is from these experiences and skills that she draws inspiration to build unforgettable characters and tell touching stories. “It talks about real things. My background and my experiences are very useful to me when writing, I base myself on the psychology of the human being…”
His third novel, which will therefore be discovered during this literary treasure hunt, explores the theme of friendship, in a book where bonds are woven, strengthened and sometimes broken, with a central question: friendship can can it be a shield when love, loyalty and resilience are put to the test?
