Nathalie Gayetowner of the La Canopée bookstorelocated at number 1 rue des Herses in Ploërmelhad already proposed this operation last year, and it is renewing it for these 2024 holidays. malle-surprise wicker, gift packages wrapping books. The principle? Readers buy them “blind”.

An original mystery gift for less than €20

Compared to the previous edition, one main change. “The idea is for them to be paperbacks. And there are two per pack », guaranteeing a price below €20. For the rest, the spirit remains the same.

“Each time, they are livres who are my favorites and/or those of Antoine”, with whom Nathalie has been working for three months. Favorites about which we know nothingor not much.

Because the packages gifts stay well mysterious as to their content. At most we can find a notewith some allusive words… “From painting to music…”, reveals, laconicce Post-it. It's up to the imagination to do the rest, before letting yourself be tempted.
