“Susie Shakespeare” – Susie Morgenstern, “one of the greatest authors of children’s literature”, is in the spotlight at the Montreuil Book and Youth Press Fair
A big smile on your lips and pink heart-shaped glasses! At 79, Susie Morgenstern carries her humor and her petulant exuberance with her, like a child who refused to grow up. The Franco-American author, to whom we owe more than a hundred children’s Books published by around thirty publishers, was crowned, Thursday, November 7, with the Grande Ourse 2024 prize, awarded by the Salon du book and youth press of Montreuil (SLPJ), which opens its doors this Wednesday.
“Susie Morgenstern is one of the greatest authors of children’s literature,” explains Sylvie Vassalo, director of the SLPJ. It has been in our lists since the launch of this distinction six years ago.
