Tuesday, November 12, the general assembly of the association which manages the library was held in the presence of volunteers, Christophe Salesse, Deputy and two members of Générations Mouvement.
Colette Gaud, the president, recalled the activities of the association in the direction of the Bellevue school, the nursery, its active participation in the Territorial Educational Plan (PEDT) with a notable production at the spring of the poets as well as at the cultural action “Living Arts in Libraries” driven by the departmental media library. His immediate project is the creation of the Christmas window as part of the festivities planned from December 20.
Christiane Bellouguet indicates that since 2015, 150 new readers from Nagassols and neighboring villages have registered. 34 adults and 17 children regularly borrow Books. 20 books are renewed every month by the departmental media library and 300 every six months; a credit of €450 from the town hall allows the purchase of new works.
On the financial side, Cathy Ventejoux announces a positive balance of €1,500. The Bureau wanted the Association to be dissolved so that the library would become a full part of municipal services.
The volunteers will continue their action and wish to increase opening hours with the help of the municipality. The assembly voted unanimously on all the reports as well as the dissolution.
