A warm moment around tea, coffee and a hearty snack, while browsing through the tables filled with Franco-British Books and DVDs sold at very low prices. A happy afternoon for the members of the association, which were joined by a few curious people. This was, for example, the case of Gabriel, an English teacher in a neighboring college in the Somme. He comes to this “Time 4 tea” for the first time. The teacher is far from leaving empty-handed: “ I was informed by friends. I mainly bought books, but also a few DVDs. These are things that I can show to students, or personal purchases », assures the teacher who seems delighted with this mini-sale giving pride of place to the language of Shakespeare. Among the other visitors of the day, Danielle, a regular because she is a member of the association: “ I came here to treat myself, I bought a few DVDs… eight! It is also an opportunity to practice good English “. Because this meeting which takes place four times a year is an English-speaking crossroads. Dialogue between native speakers and learners, reading books and watching DVDs are good ways to progress in the language!
