After an interruption due to Covid, Stéphane Héaume and Arnaud Pelhate relaunched the Trouville literary prize – Pavillon Augustine, in Trouville (Calvados).
A work of fiction in French
“This prize recognizes a work of fiction in the French language which places great emphasis on the imagination with the presence of the sea and/or port or coastal towns. This prize comes with a check for €5,000. After a first selection in November of ten works, a second selection of three Books will be communicated at the beginning of February. Finally, the jury will meet at the beginning of April for the final choice” explains Stéphane Héaume, co-founder.

Strong ties with Trouville
Stéphane Héaume, novelist and Arnaud Pelhate, owner of Brasserie Augustine, are co-founders of the prize. Pierre Bergé is the honorary president. The jury made up of around ten novelists is chaired by Anne Heilbronn, vice-president of Sotheby's, responsible for the books and manuscripts branch. Many of the members of the jury have a very strong connection with Trouville. Édouard Jousselin and Christine Montalbetti, novelists, joined the jury this year.
