Amnesty International's local group will organize the 37e edition of its traditional Book Fair. Many items will be available for purchase in the upper room of the Jean-Favre room, from November 22 to 24.

For three days, members of Amnesty International Pays de Langres will hold their usual Book Fair. But not only that, since CDs and vinyls will also be available. The funds raised will be used for the life of the local group, and will be donated to various local and national associations, including Amnesty International . Liens 52, Artisans du Monde will also have a stand, as will the local branch of Secours populaire, which will sell waffles and drinks.

This year, Amnesty international Pays de Langres is innovating and was able to purchase boxes to store its books in a long-term manner. The Territorial Development Contract (CDT) will also hold an information stand on food social security. “Access to quality food is a human right, hence the interest in hosting the CDT. These are struggles that come together,” explains Agnès Bolopion, president of the local group.

The members of the association will also hold their ordinary general meeting on Friday at 6:30 p.m., also in the Jean-Favre room, just after the Book Fair. “We would like people to be interested in our actions and attract dynamic forces. We will be delighted and happy to welcome them,” confides Agnès Bolopion. The results of the past year and the prospects for 2025 will be discussed, with a focus on new projects, including one with the Taste of Others.

The president of the local Amnesty International group thanks all the volunteers, the donors, the City of Langres and its technicians “without whom we could not hold the fair”, which will be open from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Friday November 22, and from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday 23 and Sunday 24.
