MEven if Jean-Claude Dusse was not his favorite character, it is still in his guise that Michel Blanc will wink at us at the end of the month… A collective book around the adventure of the Splendid is planned published by Le Cherche Midi, published on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the creation of the troupe. The entire fine team agreed to open their family album by sharing photos from their personal collections and distilling memories and anecdotes with the collaboration of journalist Jean-Pierre Lavoignat.

“It’s very important, it’s the last thing he participated in,” underlined Gérard Jugnot on the set of Telematin. “It was Thierry Lhermitte who organized this for the benefit of medical research, ironically… We all took out our old photos, which were sometimes a little personal. Six cardiac arrests
Both of them had known each other for a long time since they met at the Pasteur high school in Neuilly, at the end of the 1960s: first complicity, first heckling which pushed the teachers to separate them in class… Jugnot knew Lhermitte and Clavier, who were close to Marie- Anne Chazel… and this is how the hard core will be formed, “friends for life”, as a certain film will say. Everyone will then follow their own path, to establish themselves in the profession solo and successfully. “We haven’t seen each other much for a while,” Jugnot admitted on the set of C the weekly (France 5). Everyone had gone their own way. We said “we” and then we said “I”, but every time we got together, we laughed like idiots, like in high school…”

It was again Jugnot who was the first to announce the tragedy on social networks by sharing his amazement on the night of his friend's death: “Fuck, Michel, what did you do to us? » he wrote on Instagram on the evening of October 3. That same day, the interpreter of Monsieur Hire suffered an anaphylactic shock which caused no less than six cardiac arrests, before his death shortly before 11 p.m. A drama that the members of Splendid will follow almost hour by hour through Josiane Balasko, warned by Michel Blanc's partner.
