On November 8, Daniel Mur's latest work, “Le Tarbes forget”, comes out at the cultural space in the city center and at Le Méridien. The author will take the opportunity to hold a signing session the same day from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Espace Leclerc downtown.

“With this book, I wanted to tell an aspect of Tarbes that I had not addressed in my previous books,” explains the writer. “As usual, I leave the station and take the reader to the Tarbes of my childhood. Together, we will come across buildings that have disappeared such as the Saint-Blaise hospital, the Bains-Douche, the Count's Castle, in particular. We will pass through neighborhoods that are now destroyed, such as the Negro neighborhood. And I won't forget to tell some anecdotes about our city, such as the history of public toilets, the Château de Montagnan and its Liberty tree.
