The Bigouden Book Fair will take place on October 26 and 27 in the large hall of the Triskell, in Pont-l’Abbé. This 8th edition, whose theme is “Tell me your country”, without disrupting the formula, promises. “70 authors will be present, including around 40% newcomers,” declares president Didier Willard. The exhibition of drawings by the illustrator Nono, who has attracted people to the Maison de la Baie d’Audierne since May 8, will be installed in the entrance hall, and he will speak on the stage of the Violette room. Verdy on Saturday at 6 p.m., with his writing partners, Hervé Lossec and Bernard Berrou. Hervé Lossec published “Les bretonismes” and Bernard Berrou “Le Pays bigouden n’est pas en Bretagne”, both illustrated by Nono.

Highlights of the show

Apart from this meeting with the authors, during which drawings by Nono made live will be projected, another highlight is announced: Saturday at 11 a.m., the prize giving ceremony for the short story and poetry competition which has a good participation with 38 short stories and 25 poems. The comic bookseller L’introuvable from , the Téléthon crepe makers and a refreshment stand will be present during the two days.
