Violette Mirgue, the character created by -based Marie-Constance Mallard, is celebrating her 10th birthday this year and is releasing a new volume of her adventures, which this time takes place in the land of the rising Sun.

The most famous Toulouse mouse is back. Violette Mirgue is ten years old this year and she has decided to go and discover Japan. Travel trains youth, it is said, too. Heading for the land of the Rising Sun!

“Animated trip to Japan”, the 11th volume of the adventures of Violette Mirgue, published by Privat jeunesse at the end of September, will obviously delight little ones: the mischievous, curious and intrepid little mouse, born under the pencil of Toulouse Marie- Constance Mallard one day in July 2014, is always ready to solve the puzzles that present themselves to her and her faithful sidekick Cluque, a small rodent with eyes like saucers.

Violette (this first name symbolizes the Pink City) investigated in Toulouse, , , and even in space. But here she is in Japan, where a case of major importance awaits her: the pages of a highly anticipated manga have disappeared! Tokyo, between us and watch out manga thieves: Violette Mirgue didn’t just come for sightseeing… Our duo of crack detectives intends to solve this new mystery!
