From October 12 to 18, the Lire à Arnage association is organizing its traditional book sale. We were in an uncertain situation with the closure of the media library. We learned on Friday October 4 that it would reopen on Saturday October 12,” explains Martine Moreau, vice-president of Lire à Arnage.

Partner of the media library, the association which has eighteen members, will sell the books weeded from the media library. She renews her works, so we sell books that are older and less read.

Visitors will be able to stock up on books (adult and youth), magazines, novels, CDs… at reduced prices! We do not exceed €1 per item. Magazines and magazines are 10 cents. The association also accepts donations from readers.

Volunteers will be on call to receive the public.

Next deadline for Read in Arnage: On October 23, we are organizing a creative workshop on Halloween. It is open for 5-10 year olds.

The book sale will take place on avenue de l’Éolienne during the media library’s opening hours. Tuesday, 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., Wednesday, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. to 7 p.m., Thursday, 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., Friday, 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturday, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. to 7 p.m.
