Yves and Muriel Carchon are two authors from Lauragais. They will be signing at the Sanchez bookstore on Saturday, October 12 from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. They will present several novels there, including their last two published in March of this year.

Yves Carchon, born in 1948, spent his childhood in where his taste for daydreaming and writing was formed. Studies of Letters. At twenty years old, backpacking, he discovered Africa. Other trips followed: Türkiye, India, Afghanistan, Iran, Greece… From where he returned with a Travel diary. Between two journeys, he worked odd jobs and began to write. He works in the Judicial Protection of Youth which will take him to Guyana and Mayotte, in the heart of the Indian Ocean. He writes for the theater, publishes microfictions, novels, literary chronicles, six thrillers and co-writes a historical novel with Muriel, his wife. Today, he lives in Occitania in the Land of Cocagne.

From her childhood years in Algeria, Muriel Carchon retains a taste for elsewhere. An eternal traveler, she loves meeting others and is curious about everything. She is writing a coming-of-age novel: Believe in your destiny and dare to live it (Prize of the City of Figeac 2017), then explores a new genre in signing a futuristic novel the same year: The Tomb of the Patriarchs.In 2020, she published a collection of stories: Lady Mole and the Far Country. The black widowis his first thriller published in July 2021 by Editions Cairn. In 2023, she publishes a new thriller: Murders in , The Crusade of the Chosen One (GesteNoir) and a dark novel : Bitter harvest (TDO Editions).The continuation of The Crusade of the Chosen One : Murders in Lot-et-Garonne, The Shadow of the Chosen One (GesteNoir) appears in March 2024. A historical novel co-written with Yves Carchon: The Harvests of Exile was released in bookstores in February 2024.
