Saturday October 12, 2024, the writer Christian Lavergne will dedicate his latest novel IM (shared intelligence) at the Sauveterre-de-Guyenne media library (Gironde), from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.
The next day, we can find him at the book fair organized by the Friends of the Bastide association.
This highly anticipated meeting for lovers of letters and books will be held on Sunday October 13from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., at the Simone-Veil room in Sauveterre-de-Guyenne.
Around thirty authors will be present
This new edition promises to be a true celebration of books and reading. No less than thirty authors will be present to sign their works and interact with the public.
Among them, there are also the presence of two literary associations, four publishing houses renowned as well as a bookstore specializing in children’s books.
Music and stories for young and old
But the Sauveterre book fair is not only the opportunity to discover new literary horizons. It is also a friendly and family event with many activities scheduled throughout the day.
In the morning, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., children and parents are invited to immerse themselves in the world of music and stories in sign language. A beautiful moment of sharing in perspective.
A bookmark sewing workshop
In the afternoon, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., a sewing workshop fabric bookmarks will delight the most creative and DIY enthusiasts. Everyone will leave with their pretty personalized creation.
