The municipal book space of Vouillé welcomed, Thursday October 3, 2024, in front of around twenty listeners, Claude Couliou who usually runs a writing workshop in this place of culture. For its author, the idea for the novel was born from reading an article from Dauphiné Libéré which related a news item which immediately aroused his emotion. “ And by chance, the subject of a news item had been suggested to the writing group that I followed in 2020. This news item related the story of a savage attack on a young mountain enthusiast named Oscar who was abandoned injured on the slope of Semnoz near Annecy. But more than the news item, it is the story of a will, a perseverance, an unfailing determination to heal from the after-effects of Oscar and get back on track that I wanted to remember and which motivated my writing . » Claude Couliou also benefited significantly from the ideas put forward by the members of the group which worked on the news item, members present this Thursday evening to appreciate the result of work which could be classified as collective, which is not does not exclude the quality of its author’s sensitive writing.
