A wonderful gathering gathered in Orincles for the presentation of Christophe Cathelain’s new book on the Marquisate, the Ossun plain and the enclaves published by Val d’Adour.
After the usual thanks, a presentation of the book and its history, the author proposed a discovery of the treasures of the 17 villages of the canton of Ossun in the form of a quiz which delighted the audience.
Everyone seemed delighted with the success of this evening. Christophe Cathelain’s book is now available in all bookstores.
We remind you that the profits will be donated to sick children in Hautes-Pyrénées (Ensemad 65 association).
The Ensemad 65 association aims to enable students (children or teenagers) whose education is interrupted following an accident or illness to continue their education free of charge. It operates throughout the Hautes-Pyrénées department.
Volunteer teachers go to the student’s home, the hospital, the association’s premises or the school. In addition to classes, volunteers know how to look kindly on sick children and support worried parents. This is a double reason to buy this excellent work which will be a landmark for this territory.
