While the book “La Visitation, les trois renaissances” has just been released by Libra Diffusio, a free conference (registration required) will be organized on Wednesday May 15, 2024 in Le Mans, to discuss this place that has long been invisible to the people of Manceaux, and yet full of history. Alternately a convent, then a prison and a courthouse, it is now a place of life, including several bars and restaurants.
Upon registration
Coordinated by a specialist in heritage and its mediation, Franck Miot-Hermenault, the work, produced at the request of the departmental council, is the result of the collaboration of twelve other contributors, all specialists in each of the areas they treat in the book. : Alain Barbier, Louis-Thibault Buron, Damien Castel, Pierre Chevet, Nicolas Gautier, Julien Hardy, Nathalie Jupin, Fabrice Masson, Olivier Renault, Évelyne Robineau, Élodie Salin and Lauréna Salion.
Conference on Wednesday May 15, 2024 at 7:30 p.m. at the Chorus room, in Le Mans.
