Thursday, Jocelyne Poitevin, first vice-president and departmental councilor of the canton of Douarnenez, went to Saint-Blaise college to offer each student a copy of the 2024 winning book of the College Students’ Literary Prize.

“This 3e edition of the Literary Prize was a great success since 179 classes involving 4,762 middle school students participated” explains Jocelyne Poitevin. Addressing the students, the departmental advisor wanted to encourage the fifty recipient students. The goal is to make you love reading. Everything is good as long as it enriches your knowledge”, she pointed out. The Literary Prize was launched in 2022 for students in grade 5e who had to select one novel out of the three presented. We worked together on the reading sheets to guide their choices says Anne Le Rochais, librarian professor. The novel What happened to flight MH 370?by Sarah Barthère, was selected. It is therefore this last book which, on Thursday afternoon, was given to the fifty students in the 6th grade.e.
